Did you know....

Did you know that NASA has a streamable station? If not...It does and it is freaking awesome. I am watching it right now and it is cool and I will get to see the shuttle land at 3:49 pm in California. Additionally, you can hear all of the discussion between the astronauts and mission control. Maybe it is because I am of the Space Shuttle generation or maybe it is because in a next life I am going to study harder so I can become an astronaut or maybe it is because my dad used to take the family down to Cape Canaviral in the camper to watch the shuttle launch or maybe it is because I have a relative that is actually a rocket scientist but I am obsessed with the space program. Enjoy!

Chaos....

This is the newest member of our household. Don't let that sweet face fool you he is a MANIAC. I have never owned a puppy this young before and I am not sure that I realized just how crazy he was going to be. Dont' get me wrong. I already love him and it is nice to have that crazy energy pulsing through the house but now I understand why people say that having a puppy is like having a baby. If this is what having babies is all about I am going to turn the words of Patton Oswalt into my new mantra: "We are going to have a silent invisible baby named 10 hours of sleep a night." Never the less, our new dog, Gus, is the cutest freaking puppy I have every seen and our dog Beta freaking loves him. Now the goal is to survive puppyhood without too much distruction.

Updates...

In case you were wondering, I do not like the new Spoon album. It is boring. I felt that way about Gimme Fiction too. Boring. Series of Sneaks and Girls Can Tell are so fantastic that no others can compare.

The boy and I are in the process of adopting a new dog. After two years of whining about wanting a puppy, the boy has finally caved and allowed me to get a new dog. His name will be Gus.

I currently have to wear this prosthetic tooth, otherwise know as a flipper, until I can get the final little bit of surgery done to my mouth. I actually had to call the dentist and tell him that my in-laws' dog ate it. Not only do I hate wearing this f*%king tooth but now I have to buy a new one, which by the way is the third I have had to purchase. I feel like the gap-toothed yokal.
