Preferences....

Wow. Back on the blog. It has been ages but I just got an itch for it. What really is happening is that I am burnt out writing about forests and hurricanes and wanted a break.

I dont like reading books or magazines online. It takes the charm away from it. I also prefer hardcover books over paper backs but I immediately trash the dust covers. In a similar vain, I would much rather write with a pencil over a pen. I consider myself into "new stuff" but when it comes to things I love, I tend to love them in their original incarnations. It's like our house. It has all new appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, but it is an old house. I like the mix. OLD vs. NEW...the war of the worlds.

New things I like: carbon fiber bikes, computers, iPods, the boy's iPhone, comment sections in papers even though they tend to make me completely irrate, online video streaming....
